MyChart PATIENT PORTAL NOW AVAILABLE
In the fall of 2023, Peoples Clinic made a switch to a new electronic health record (EHR) system called EPIC. One of the benefits of this change is to provide a new, easy-to-use, patient portal for our patients.
MyChart allows you to take control of your health information and manage care for yourself and your family members. And MyChart is easy to use!
You can use MyChart to:
- View your health records
- See test results as they come back from the lab
- Pay your bill
- View your statements
- And so much more!
SIGN UP FOR MyChart
Signing up for an account is easy and only takes a few minutes. You will receive a text message to sign up for MyChart when you make an appointment or within a couple hours after your appointment is over. That text will walk you through the steps to download the app and sign up.
Make sure to allow MyChart to send you notifications so that you can get reminders about appointments and be notified whenever information becomes available for you to view.
If you have not received a text from us, you can email or call our Enrollment & Outreach Coordinator and request access to MyChart [bmarquand@peoples-clinic.com or (319) 874-3350]. Be sure to include your name and cell number in your message. You will receive a message inviting you to sign up for MyChart. Please allow at least 72 hours for a response, although you will usually receive one sooner.
MyChart is a NEW patient portal. This means if you were signed up for the patient portal in our old system, you will need to set up a new account with MyChart.
PAY YOUR BILL
If you have an outstanding bill from the previous system, before the switch to EPIC in the fall, it will not show up on MyChart. You can still pay your bill online, but you will need to use the old system to do so. Look at your statement to see how to pay your bill.
If your statement looks like this, use the green button, below, to pay your bill.
If your statement looks like the one below, you may pay your bill on the new patient portal, MyChart.
